Dr. Renee Branch

C. Renee Branch, D.O. received her undergraduate degree at Texas A&M University and her medical degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Ft. Worth. She completed her residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in North Houston where she received the award for outstanding intern and served as Chief Resident. Dr. Branch is a Board-Certified Family Physician who specializes in managing chronic medical conditions such as Diabetes, Cardiovascular Disease, Dyslipidemia, and Obesity. Dr. Branch enjoys spending time with her husband and their four sons. She is actively involved in her church’s youth ministry and enjoys volunteering on medical missions.

Dr. Thomas M. Buzbee

Thomas Buzbee, M.D. received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School in Houston and did his internship and residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. Dr. Buzbee is board certified in Internal Medicine and he promotes and lectures nationally on preventative medicine. During his leisure time, you can find Dr. Buzbee working in his backyard garden, working out at the gym or spending time with his active family.

Doctor Park

Dr. D. Michael Park

D. Michael Park, M.D. received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Dr. Park interned at Baylor University and finished his residency at Louisiana State University. He practiced emergency medicine for two years, one year of psychotherapy training at the University of Colorado Medical Center and completed an Integrative Medicine Fellowship at the University of Arizona under Dr. Andrew Weil. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and is certified in Anti-Aging Regenerative Medicine as well as Integrative Medicine and Nutrition. Dr. Park has been in practice in Tyler since 1982 and is an original founder of TIMA.

Dr. Jennifer Saurette

Jennifer Saurette, M.D. is a native of East Texas who specializes in Family Practice. She graduated Suma Cume Laude from Auburn University and received her Medical degree from University of Texas Medical Branch. Dr. Saurette completed her residency at Texas Health Center- Tyler. She was awarded Pediatric Resident of the Year and Resident’s Resident and later earned Chief Resident. She enjoys the unique aspect of family medicine whereby she can treat patients ranging from teens to the elderly. Dr. Saurette has three children and enjoys spending time with them. When not in the clinic, she likes to travel and is an avid runner.

Doctor Simpson

Dr. Amy K. Simpson

Amy K. Simpson, M.D. is a native of East Texas, and received her medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. She completed her internship and residency at St. Paul Medical Center in Dallas. She specializes in the management of chronic illnesses such as diabetes, high blood pressure and cardiovascular disease. She also offers medical spa services including Botox and dermal fillers. Dr. Simpson is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the National Board of Echocardiography in Adult Echocardiograms. Her hobbies include music, travel, writing and spending time with her family.

Dr. Ramiro Villena

Ramiro Villena, M.D. is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and received his medical degree from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1998. He completed his residency at the Brooklyn Hospital Medical Center, affiliated with the Weill Medical College of Cornell University. Dr. Villena is fluent in both English and Spanish. He is passionate about providing the highest quality of care to all his patients in the community. Before becoming a physician, Dr. Villena pitched for the National Argentine baseball team. He is a devoted father who enjoys outdoor activities and traveling with his two children.

Meagan Culpepper

Meagan Culpepper; FNP-C

As a family nurse practitioner, Meagan Culpepper brings an atmosphere of empathy, easygoing communication, and a sense of humor, laying the framework for open discussion. She completed her Bachelors and Masters of Science in Nursing at UT Tyler and holds a national certification with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). Although Meagan is accustomed to prescribing medications, she firmly believes in a holistic approach of listening to and evaluating the patient as a whole before agreeing on a treatment plan together. The first step is educating patients on lifestyle changes that target the root cause of illness before resorting to medication. She is well versed in treating chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertentlon, and high cholesterol, but is also comfortable providing women’s health services such as well woman exams. Meagan is an advocate for her patients and a firm believer that patients should understand why they are taking medication, and discusses with them how they feel about the treatment plan. In her free time Meagan enjoys spending time with her family and serving in the youth ministry at her church.

Shari Renea Howard, ACNP

Shari “Renea” Howard, Acute/Adult Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP), is a native East Texan. She graduated Sigma Theta Tau from UT Tyler, Texas with her Masters in Nursing then furthered her education at Texas Tech University, Lubbock where she graduated Sigma Theta Tau with her Acute/Adult Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP). Renea enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.

Kristine Verhalen Evans

Kristine Verhalen-Evans, NP-C

Kristine Verhalen-Evans, NP-C, is a native East Texan and has served the medical community of Tyler since 2010. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, listening to records, watching movies and hiking with her husband.

Sandee Volatile, NP-C

Sandee Volatile is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She attended the University of Delaware where she first received an undergraduate degree in Biology
(1993) and then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (1995). She gained experience working as a registered nurse in Medical/Surgical, Pediatrics and
ICU/Cardiac Care at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes, DE while attending Wilmington University for her Graduate Degree. In May 1998, she graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner program and has worked in the field for 23 years. She and her family moved to Tyler in 2007. In 2010, she joined Tyler Internal Medicine Associates, and presently works under the supervision of Dr Park. Sandee has volunteered locally with the Women’s Symphony League, PATH, and the Texas Rose Festival. She and her husband Tom have 5 children and enjoy time on their ranch, traveling, playing tennis and hosting exchange students.

Jessica Johnson

Jessica Johnson, NP-C

Jessica Johnson is a family nurse practitioner who primarily works in skilled nursing facilities and long-term care facilities for Tyler Internal Medicine Associates at Davis Medical Group in Lindale, Texas. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Texas in Arlington. She is nationally board certified with the American Nurse Credentialing Center as a family nurse practitioner. She is passionate about helping each of her patients to achieve their health goals and helping them obtain and maintain the highest quality of life possible. She feels she is doing what she was called to do.

Personally, she has been married for over 20 years, has three children, and one grandson. She loves to read, listen to Jive music, have dinner with friends and family and listen to the latest healthcare podcasts.

Melisia Martin, FNP-C

After graduating from the University of Texas at Tyler in 1997, Melisia began her nursing career as an Emergency Room Nurse. Then she completed the Nurse Practitioner MSN Program at Texas Tech in 2004. Before working at TIMA for the last 7 years, Melisia worked in Urgent Care and Rural & Federally Qualified Health Clinics. Melisia brings empathy and an easy going communication style making it easy for her to talk to patients and family members. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 teenagers. She also enjoys riding ATVs, vacationing, gardening, and watching movies.

Chris Williams, PA-C

Chris Williams is a 2001 Texas Tech Graduate and has practiced alongside Dr. Buzbee for 18 years. Chris enjoys travelling, golf and spending time with his wife and two sons, Tristan and Tanner.

Kelly Cox, FNP

Kelly Cox has been a Nurse Practitioner since 2007. During that time he has worked as a provider in a Level 1 Trauma center, urgent care, family practice as well as 8 years with a Helicopter EMS as a Flight Nurse/ Paramedic eventually becoming the Chief Administrative Officer.He transitioned to full t1me family practice in 2009. He has worked with Dr. Anthony Davis M.D. for over 10 years. He has served his country with Dept of Homeland Security as well as a Master Peace Officer and Tactical Paramedic/ Deputy for Smith County Sheriff’s Office for 16 years. He has served with Tyler PD SWAT as well as with the Texas Rangers SRT-1. He is the father of two children that he loves dearly and the husband of Jennifer Cox RN. In his offtime he enjoys anything in the outdoors and spending time with family. He is proud to be part of Davis Medical Group in Lindale and Tyler Internal Medicine Associates. He graduated with his Nurse Pract1oner training with Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center 2006.

Anthony Davis, M.D. has spent the last decade living and working in Lindale. It has always been his dream to live and work in a wholesome city surrounded by loving and supportive friends and neighbors. His wife is a Lindale native and their five daughters attend the Lindale schools. Dr. Davis completed his undergraduate degree in Cell and Molecular Biology at Texas Tech University and then earned his Doctor of Medicine from Texas Tech University School of Medicine. He is Board Certified in Family Medicine and a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
